Strength Building & Performance Therapy Training
Physiotherapy is defined as the treatment or management of physical disability, malfunction, weakness, or pain by physical techniques such as exercise, massage, hydrotherapy, etc.
As a professional Certified Equine Massage and Muscle Therapist, and Certified independent Saddle Fitter, Emily is able to bring a unique, physiological point of view to her clients looking for additional wellness and strengthening routines for their horses to maximize their training efforts.
Emily utilizes her unique background as a Dressage rider with a specialty in rehabilitating Dressage sporthorses, equine massage therapist, and saddle fitter to create stronger, healthier, more balanced sport horses through Dressage-based strength training and therapy suitable for all levels and disciplines of horse and rider.
Emily understands the high demands placed on both horse and rider, aiming to meet their goals and address musculoskeletal weaknesses with specific Dressage-based exercises and groundwork techniques that are created to achieve maximum ridden agility, balance, and strength. She utilizes groundwork, long lines, cross training, cavelletti, under-saddle work, and lunge lessons as regular tools of her strengthening work.
Her techniques are fair and straightforward, supporting optimal equine athletic performance with the horse's wellbeing in the forefront of all work.
