Upstate Equine LLC is a mobile, professionally certified, equine sports-massage and independent English saddle fit & repair practice with the sporthorse's well being and willingness at the forefront of work. Upstate Equine LLC is based in the Carolinas and available for travel and trailer-ins.
Emily works with a wide array of clients and disciplines, from professional trainers to amateur horse owners, offering a unique range of services, including professionally certified equine massage and muscle therapy sessions and independent saddle fittings, certified from the only independent saddle fitting school offered in North America.
Emily is a USDF Bronze Medalist, SCDCTA Silver Medalist, and has been awarded Region Championships, End of the Year USDF and SCDCTA Championships awards, and Dressage Seat Finalist as a Young Rider.
She grew up with horses and the Dressage community as she worked her way up the training scale and competition levels. She worked as a full time working student for professional Dressage trainers for over 15 years, as well as putting herself through training and school as a professional groom for nationally & internationally recognized riders for many years prior to stepping out on her own as a professional horsewoman.
She has had the privilege to work with many national and internationally known Dressage masters and trainers throughout her own training, and as a result, has gained extensive training and show experience with a variety of horses and ponies at many different levels of competition. This experience gives Upstate Equine LLC a unique perspective to our work, understanding the wide range of demands placed on both the competitive upper level horse as well as the pleasure horse.
Emily has had the opportunity to have worked in North and South Carolinas, Georgia, Wyoming, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, and Utah over the years as an equine bodyworker, saddle fitter, and trainer.
